Anybody who uses a radio in a car knows this: either you don't find the microphone or you get entangled in the microphone cable. Besides the traffic security this is not very comfortable.

And at home you would love to have your hands free, or move freely in your shack...

With the new wireless hands-free set you get rid of the cables. The driver can move freely in the car and upt o 10m around it, while talking on the radio. Talksafe is also very useful for motor cycle drivers.

A small box is installed in the vehicle, which is connected to the microphone and loudspeaker jacks of the radio.

Further a Bluetooth headset is required but not included. This is a normal BT headset just like it is used for mobile telephones. According to experience a well known brand will have a better voice quality.

With Talksafe a confidential conversation becomes possible in the car because nobody else can hear the radio signal. But with the push of a button you can turn on an optional external speaker, allowing everybody in the car to listen in.

Talksafe cooperates nicely with other Bluetooth devices (even with other Talksafes), because the headset is 'paired' to the device when using it for the first time. Talksafe has an adjustable transmit timeout limit.

For most mobile radios by Kenwood(Icom/Yaesu a microphone cable is available, for other radios a universal cable (open ended, soldering required) is available.
