IC-7800

Icom ha estado desarollando este equipo durante 40 años. Nuestra história empezó con el primer circuito PLL analógico con el IC-200, hasta el DSP de 32-bit de IC-756PRO. Icom siempre ha ido acumulando ideas y datos técnicos. Recientemente las estaciones de radioaficionados han incrementado la poténcia en sus transmisiones y usan antenas de alta ganáncia que ayudan a escuhcar señales no deseadas, y esto requerís un receptor mucho más potente y de rango dinámico. Icom ha desarollado el modelo insignia el IC-7800 que es una fusión de 40 años de circuitos de RF analógicos, y la tecnología digital.

El resultado són 110dB de rango dinamico, +40dB punto de interceptación de 3r orden en las bandas de HF y otras caracter´siticas fenomenales. Los receptores combinan varias tecnologias, para obtener el +40dBm IP3, una característica nunca que nunca antes se havía visto en Ham radio. Muy simple pero, el IC-7800 es lo último en Ham radio. No hay nada que se le pueda comparar!

In the tradition of the top-of-the-line transceivers IC-7800/IC-7700 Icom now offers the IC-7600. The receiver is a double superhet design with IF DSP, resulting in a much better intermod free dynamic range. Icom claims 104dB dynamic range and an IP3 of +30dBm. Equipped with two 32bit Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) the receiver has two AGC loops, one analog, one digital. This results in a perfectly controlled gain control.

Three selectable 1st IF roofing filters (15, 6 and 3kHz) provide a very good selectivity, especially at SSB and CW modes. The other IF filters are - as usual - freely programmable, due to the DSP design. THree filters can be programmed for each mode. With the well known twin passband tuning a fine tuning of the optimal bandwidth is possible during operation.

The IC-7600 offers the possibility to listen to two frequencies in one band at the same time (Dualwatch). This enables you to listen to the DX station on one VFO, and to the pile-up on the other.A must have for the serious DXer.

And the powerful signal processors offer many more functions, for example an effective noise cancellation, a variable noise blanker, automatic or manual notch filters with three selectable bandwidths, voice recorder functions for receive and transmit and much more. A precise TCXO (temperature controlled crystal oscillator) is factory installed, resulting in a very high frequency stability of ±0.5ppm. Especially digital modes like PSK31 etc benefit from this high stability.

The large colour LC display (5.8") offers a wide viewing angle and is for the first time equipped with a white LED backlight. This greatly reduces heat and has a much longer life than traditional CCFL lights. The multi function meter does not only display transmit power and signal strength, but also current and temperature of the final amplifier, SWR, ALC and compression level and much more.

A USB keyboard can be directly connected to the transceiver, allowing operation in PSK31 and RTTY without a computer. Another USB interface on the rear offers the usual remote control functions plus the receive and transmit audio. This allows for a much easier computer/transceiver integration.

Many more improvements like a selectable amplifier keying (FET or relay), freely programmable band edges, a solid 100W FET amplifier and much more turns the IC-7600 into the perfect HF transceiver for the ambitious radio amateur. And as usual with the best Icom quality!

Included in shipment are a handbook, hand microphone HM-36, carrying handle MB-121, a DC cable plus spare fuses and some hardware parts.

The IC-9100 combines Icom experiences of many years in one radio. The shortwave receiver has inherited many features of the top radios: selectable roofing filters [3], doble super heterodyne receiver, IF DSP, two separate receivers and much more. Plus the well renowned tradition of Icoms V/UHF radios - now all in one radio.

Two independant receivers allow operation on two different bands, for example on shortwave + VHF or UHF, or VHF + UHF. In front of the first IF stage up to three selectable roofing filters reduce the bandwidth offered to the next stage. A 15kHz roofing filter comes installed, optionally a 6kHz or 3kHz filter can be installed. Especially the narrow filters enhance selectivity on HF and 50MHz. Each receiver has it's own DSP which supports functions like IF filtering, notch filters, AGC control,pas band tuning, noise reduction and much more.

The transmitter offers a full power of 100W on HF, 50MHz and 144MHz, 50W on 430MHz and 10W on 23cm with the optional 23cm module. An automatic antenna tuner for HF/50MHz is built in. The UT-121 D-Star option open the world of state of the art digital modulation on VHF an UHF, but also available on 28 and 50MHz. Together with the D-Star module comes the possibility to receive distance and position information from remote stations. Your own position is received by an optional GPS antenna or can be entered manually.

Also for the communication to the external world Icom uses well-proven and state of the art technology: the CI-V CAT interface, in use since more than 20 years is still available as well as a powerful USB socket. This USB socket offers not only CAT and remote control functions but also an audio interface. This turns the radio into a modem, it act's as an external soundcard to the computer. No more interface hassle required to get started with all computer-based modes! To decode RTTY you don't even need a computer at all, the IC-9100 does this internally.

The IC-9100 accepts most known accessories by Icom and other suppliers. The transceiver has a 13-pin ACC socket, just like the IC-706, IC-7000, IC-7200 and IC-718.

El Icom IC-7200 es un transceptor compacto todo-modo para HF/6m con DSP en Frecuencia Intermedia. Esto significa que nunca más tendrá s que comprar filtros de FI otra vez. Simplemente ajusta en el menú el ancho de banda que necesites. El Procesador Digital de Señal (DSP) también es el responsable de un efectivo noise blanker, un filtro notch manual (-70dB) y una útil reducción de ruido. Gracias a la integración de las funciones del DSP en el circuito del AGC, las distorsiones y efectos de los bloqueos se pueden reducir en gran medida. Se pueden ajustar tres constantes de tiempo diferentes para el AGC para cada modo.

El transceptor es muy robusto y está fabricado para poder ser usado en exteriores. No es impermeable, pero unas pocas gotas de agua no van a estropear el IC-7200. El doble ventilador permite al potente transmisor de 100W transmitir en largos períodos sin sobrecalentamiento.

Al contrario que muchos otros transceptores, el IC-7200 tiene un conector USB. Esta conexión USB no sólo ofrece las habituales funciones CAT, ¡sino que también soporta las señales de audio! De este modo, para tu ordenador el IC-7200 se comporta como un dispositivo de sonido USB externo, contribuyendo definitivamente a la integración en una estación controlada remotamente. Por supuesto también está disponible el control CI-V CAT tradicional.

Además el IC-7200 ofrece muchas otras funciones útiles como 200 memorias, atenuador, VOX, RIT, un sintetizador de voz interno, sintonía doble de la banda de paso y mucho más.
