Efficient directional antenna with 9.5 to 11 dBi Gain, depending on band. Consists of two logarithmic-periodic antennas which are both slanted by 45°. This results in the X polarsation required for LTE connections. This dual polarisation is the basis for fast data transmission rates and robust connections of LTE.

The antennas are made from light aluminium, solid construction (Made in Europe!). The mast mount is included in shipment and is suitable for masts up to 50mm. The antennas have a length of 980mm. The two supplied cables are attached directly to the antenna and have a length of 10m. Both are equipped with SMA connectors, which is the most common connector for many consumer class LTE/4G routers. Due to the large bandwidth this antenna is useable on all LTE bands from 790 to 2700 MHz, but also for GSM900, GSM1800, UMTS and DECT. This is ideal for backup radio links, regardless of which band is available in your region.

Pointing the antenna in the right direction is not critical, either use the information by the provider, or check the signal strength signal of the router to find the strongest signal. The antenna has an opening angle of 40 to 50°.

If 10m cable length is not sufficient, you can use extender cables - within limits. Please note that each connector and each cable reduces the signal which eventually even the strongest antenna can not compensate. Outdoor SMA connections should be protected with self annealing tape, SMA connectors are not waterproof. Attention: Any MIMO antenna requires two extension cables!

The desktop antenna 18703 is a compact and lightweight antenna for all bands (800, 1800 and 2600 MHz) and all systems (GSM/2G, UMTS/3G, LTE/4G). The antenna supports the mandantory dual polarity system required for LTE, only with this system you can get the full advantages of LTE (robustness, speed).

The desk antenna is intended for indoor use and comes with two 2m long cables with SMA connectors. These connectors are used on most LTE and UMTS routers, no adaptors required. Due to the large frequency bandwidth the antenna is suitable for any system, even classical GSM (2G) and UMTS (3G), but also the latest LTE (4G) technology. So even when you are traveling with a portable router and no LTE network is available, this antenna will help you to receive the best signal. With the integrated stand and included suction cup the antenna can be mounted within seconds on a desk or sideboard or in the window.

Alignment of the antenna is straight forward - either use the information provided by your network and point the antenna to the next antenna tower, or use the signal level indicator on the router to find the best signal. This snazzy housing contains 2 omnidirectional antennas, which are arranged in an X shape. The MIMO technology can now be used even if it is not known from which direction the signal is coming. TThe antenna is the ideal replacement for the supplied equipment antennas, and by mounting the antennas outside the reception is significantly improved. In really bad connection, however, we recommend the use of directional antennas, which further improvement can be achieved.

The antenna is supplied with 2 x 5m cables and connectors (SMA). Included is mounting hardware for wall mount, window mount with suction cups, and mast mount.

Vue d'ensemble et charactéristiques techniques LTE antennes

LTE (Evolution à Long Terme) désigne le successeur de l'actuel service de troisième génération 3G/UMTS de téléphonie mobile. L'UIT a défini un ensemble d'exigences à ce sujet, le réseau de quatrième génération, qui réunit près de LTE, il est donc souvent appelé 3.9G…

Les attentes en matière de LTE sont essentiellement destinées à l'utilisation de l'internet mobile à haut débit pour les appareils mobiles, mais aussi la téléphonie vocale fiable et la connexion locale, les utilisateurs fixes dans les zones qui n'ont pas de connectivité filaire (DSL, câble à large bande). LTE définit différentes bandes passantes de 1,4 à 20 MHz, avec ces débits variables on peut obtenir (jusqu'à 300MBit / s en liaison descendante, jusqu'à 75MBit / s en liaison montante). Le débit de données réellement faisable est définie par l'équipement de l'utilisateur, les premieres installations pilotes sont prévues à 100 Mbit / s en liaison descendante. Les diverses bandes passantes sélectionnées dynamiquement en tête à une modulation OFDM l'efficacité du spectre meilleure qu'avec les systèmes antérieurs (2G, 3G).

Le développement de la norme LTE est devenu possible par réattribution de certaines attributions de fréquences. En Allemagne, par exemple, certains émetteurs de télévision terrestres ont été éteints, ce qui rend la gamme de fréquences de 790 à 860 MHz libre pour cette nouvelle utilisation. La gamme de fréquence est d'un intérêt particulier pour les fournisseurs et les utilisateurs, car ces fréquences inférieures offrent une meilleure distance de pénétration des bâtiments.
Une autre gamme de fréquence dédiée pour le LTE est de 2500 à 2700 MHz. Ces fréquences seront utilisées pour les courtes distances, les connexions à haute vitesse.

En mai 2010, l'Allemagne (Septembre 2010 en Autriche), le bureau de la réglementation a conclu une vente aux enchères des bandes de fréquences mentionnées ci-dessus. Les fournisseurs ont commencé à installer le premier pilote et des réseaux de production.

Les antennes LTE proposées ici sont destinées principalement pour les utilisateurs fixes, qui vivent au bord de la zone de couverture de leur fournisseur et qui veulent améliorer la connexion au réseau.
