Morse telegraphy is alive and kicking! Even if some say that morse telegraphy is "out", this mode is in wide and constant use by a large amateur community. When working DX or low power, CW is still the best and most efficient mode. And it's a lot of fun too!

What makes the ideal paddle? A paddle that is perfectly responsive, light to the touch, a paddle your fingers float over and become as one. A perfect paddle is one that the operator forgets as his/her thoughts reach out, flawlessly and smoothly translated into perfect CW. A paddle with definitive yet subtle tactile feedback, friction free return, and perfect closure on every dot and dash. In another word: Bencher keys.
Functions just like the usual one-transistor interface ("CT-Interface"), however, features optical decoupling by means of an opto-coupler. Thus reduces RF and ground coupling, RF interference into PC's (crash/destruction of the PC) and also offers protection in case of lightning and excess voltage.
The interface fits into the Sub D plug and works with LOGic, CT and SDI as well as all other programs with identical logic. The interface plugs into the COM port and the key input of the trx and does not require an additional power supply; cable length is 2meter.
Morse keyer for PC keyboards

Many functions like memories, loops, contest sequence numbers, beacon id etc. are available with the integrated software. Works without a PC, requires 7 to 15V DC. Power consumption max. 50mA, incl. keyboard.

From: nigel Sent: Tuesday, September 04, 2007 6:40 PM To: wimo Subject: CWK-Tiny Dear Sir, I would like to give you some feedback on my recent purchase of the CW keyer Tiny. The item arrived very quickly, you made an effort to post to me before your holiday. I found the product information clear, and fitted the board inside a standard keyboard. I had one difficulty which I would like to pass on to you. When the keyer and keyboard are used in my home location with external HF/VHF antenna the performance was perfect, my station being FT897 plus G5RV antenna. However on holiday using long wire or magnetic loop, the problem of RF on the keyline occured. This resulted in letters keyed not being sent to the rig. I solved this putting a ferrite clipon on the keyline. You may wish to add a note to your infomation should others have this problem. I have only just started using the basics, but will learn to use the special features you have included in due course. I am very pleased with my purchase and will pass on your firm details to my friends. Many thanks Nigel M0NDE
