All signals are isolated optically or by a transformer. Power supply via USB connection from the computer. PTT/CW keying and DTR/RTS signal can be selected by front panel switches for easy switching between applications. Includes drivers for Win98, 2000/XP, Mac OS X and Linux. With the separately sold cable sets all required cables are included (CAT and data cable to radio, USB and audio cables to computer). A two wire cable to the CW keying input is not included, but can be easily fabricated at home.
The cable sets for Kenwood and FT-1000 do not include a CAT cable! These radios usually have a traditional serial port, a normal serial cable to a COM-Oprt of your computer will do to use the CAT functions of your radio.
