Yagis according to YU7EF-design

High-gain antennas after YU7EF, Ljubisa Popa, are optimized for low isotropic temperature and therefore especially wellknown to EME specialists. The antennas have very good ratings in VE7BQH's G/T lists; unfortunately the antennas had to be home-brewed up to now.
It is us a pleasure to announce that YU7EF and WiMo/Germany made a contract about the manufacturing and the European-wide distributorship of YU7EF-Yagis. WiMo will adopt the designs and start producing the most popular antennas first. The antennas have a folded dipole with N-connector, elements are mounted isolated above the boom. The mast clamp does not sit between the element but below the boom, so the antenna pattern is not affected. As the antennas are quite narrow-band, they are optimized for the SSB part of the bands; it is however planned to offer also more broadband antennas which cover the full bands with some reductions of gain.

WiMo is pleased to receive customer inquiries about specific YU7EF antennas in order to find out which models are mainly wanted, and will plan production accordingly.
