The X-Quad is an improved design of the well known multi element quads. They are especially designed for amateur radio, with the following characteristics:

Switchable polarisation possible (hor, vert, circ. right, circ. left, diagonal)
High gain comapred to other antenna designs
Short boom length and comapct overall size
Can be mounted ion front of mast or centrally on mast

The X-Quads are now available in a 'cut down' version with the boom in two segments. So now the X-Quads fits (collapsed) in any car trunk, shipping cost outside Germany will be much reduced. (Sizes see table below).
