Portable masts made of aluminium, robust and easy to erect.
The Diamond portable masts DAP450 and DAP600 are made of aluminium. They can be erected quickly and without tools, the tubes are individually locked with a clamping device. The top end of the mast is fitted with a 1/4" female thread (photo thread), a 1/4" bolt is included. This makes it easy to mount cameras on the top of the mast, for example for overview shots of a terrain. Also included is a mounting bracket that can accept an antenna socket (PL or N) for mounting an antenna on the top of the mast. This mounting bracket can be used, for example, to insert a PL or N feed-through or a Diamond antenna cable 'SLN-xxx'.
The scope of delivery includes 30m of guy rope to secure the mast. The tripod AS603 from Diamond is offered to match the mast.
