Technical description 18485.0062

The LFA Yagis from G0KSC represent a significant further development of the Yagi antennas. Due to the loop-shaped and phase-fed dipole, there are considerably fewer side lobes in the directivity pattern. Thus, less energy is absorbed from the sides or from behind, the antenna becomes quieter and achieves a higher gain in the main direction. The 6 element LFA3 Yagi is designed for max. 5 kW transmit power, the SWR in the range 69.95-70.7 MHz is below 1.1:1, the gain is approx. 11.8 dBi.

Application description 18485.0062

The 6 element 70 MHz LFA3 Yagi from InnovAntennas is ideal for use in the city or in other areas with heavy HF exposure. Due to the design with low side lobes, this antenna is very low-noise and is therefore ideally suited for "weak signal" DX on 4m. The 6 ELement Yagi is still relatively short and fits well on any mast with a turning radius of only approx. 2.99 metres.

InnovAntennas offers a good compromise between size and gain with the 6 El. 70 MHz Yagi. The low-noise design with the horizontal LFA3 dipole makes this antenna well suited for radio amateurs with limited space, even in the city. Of course, InnovAntennas also offers smaller and larger monoband antennas for the 6m band, as well as combined dual-band antennas for 4m/6m.
