The Diamond MC-201 is a magnetic base antenna for the UHF range from
340-520 MHz. The antenna is tuned by shortening the radiator, a
shortening table is included. With careful tuning an SWR of better than
1.5:1 can be easily achieved.
The strong magnetic base has a
diameter of approx. 6cm and holds on the roof of the car even when
driving faster. The radiator is max. 19 cm long (when tuned to 340 MHz).
The weight of the MC-201 is 450 g, the max. allowed transmitting power
should not exceed 70W. The Diamond MC-201 is shiped with 4m RG-58
coax cable, for connection to the radio a PL plug is mounted.
