Technical description AB-LC192
The metal bracket AB-LC192 is mounted on the bottom of the existing plastic reinforcement on the side of Icom's LC-192 backpack. This creates a stable platform on which you can screw a portable antenna and operate it during the hike.
The scope of delivery includes all parts needed for mounting and operation. A strip of Velcro tape is included to fix and stabilise a longer antenna at a second location. The coaxial cable is 50cm long enough to reach from the AB-LC192 metal bracket to the radio in the top compartment of the backpack.
Application description AB-LC192
The AB-LC192 mounting bracket provides a convenient mounting option for small vertical antennas, directly on the outside of the Icom LC-192 backpack, making true portable operation possible, i.e. operation during hiking. Of course, the backpack can also continue to serve as a base for the antenna during a rest.
A PL socket is screwed into the metal bracket and provides a secure stand for antennas with PL plugs. Alternatively, a PL/BNC adapter is included so that these antennas can also be used. Models such as the Outbacker, but also Kommunica PL-2T, PL-1, Diamond RHM-8, RHM-10 etc. can be used as antennas.
