Fibre Glas Poles

The fiberglass masts offered here are flexible and mostly very light. They are ideal for getting a wire in the air at short notice, for example during a portable activity at the weekend or on holiday. Or you can lift a small HB9CV with it to make some radio communication from the mountain. The small masts are available up to 10m, bigger and heavier masts up to 12m. Especially large fiberglass rods up to 26m height are also used stationary, for example to set up group antennas (e.g. 4-Square) for 40, 80 and 160m.

Geocachers use the stable HD mast with 10m length to fish their treasures from the meanest corners outside the building or in the tree...

FAQ

What is the difference between fiberglass and GFK?
GFK is also known colloquially as fiberglass. The word fiberglass is an anglicism, formed from fiberglass, the English word for glass fiber. Technically, there are small differences, but they are not significant for our masts.
What is the advantage of fiberglass/GFK masts?
The low weight makes transport and assembly easier. The high strength provides high stability. The masts are corrosion, UV, and weather-resistant and therefore very durable and require minimal maintenance. GFK masts are electrically insulating and prevent creeping currents.
How stable is fiberglass/GFK masts?
The masts are highly sturdy and stable due to the incorporated continuous fiberglass and polyester resins.
