ACOM 1400S High-Power Linear Amplifier for Amateur Radio

The ACOM 1400S is a state-of-the-art linear amplifier for amateur radio, covering all bands from 1.8 to 54 MHz with a maximum output power of 1200 W (PEP or continuous carrier). Equipped with advanced LDMOS transistor technology and a broad frequency range, it is designed for demanding operating modes and offers excellent linearity with low distortion (IMD3 > 31 dB below PEP).

Intuitive Operation and Automatic Frequency Switching

The ACOM 1400S is controlled via a separate Remote Control Unit (RCU) with a 7-inch color touchscreen. With CAT compatibility, it automatically adjusts frequency and band. Alternatively, it detects the input frequency signal through the integrated frequency counter and switches bands automatically, even without CAT connection.

Excellent Compatibility and Remote Control Capabilities

The ACOM 1400S is compatible with all transceivers, requiring only “ground on transmit” control and less than 50 W of drive power. An RJ45 interface allows remote control via a web interface, enabling remote operation over the Internet.

Reliable Protection and Self-Diagnosis Functions

Integrated protection circuits and continuous self-monitoring ensure safe operation. In the event of a fault, the amplifier stores detailed diagnostic data, facilitating efficient maintenance and analysis.

High Efficiency and Compact Design

The amplifier is equipped with an internal switching-mode power supply that supports an extended voltage range of 90-264 VAC. With power factor correction (PFC) and a purely sinusoidal current draw, the ACOM 1400S operates reliably even with unstable power sources, such as generators.
