Aircell 7 Heatex is a highly flexible coaxial cable from SSB Electronic for the frequency range up to 6 GHz. The very low attenuation in relation to the diameter and the small bending radius make it interesting and recommendable for many applications in high-frequency technology.

The low attenuation of Aircell 7 Heatex is achieved by a low-loss PE-LLC dielectric with a gas content of over 70 %. The material is also resistant to moisture. The inner conductor, a 19-core stranded wire made of low-oxygen copper, allows the cable to be extremely flexible. 

To achieve good shielding attenuation, the outer conductor of Aircell 7 Heatex has a two-layer design: a copper shielding braid with a coverage of 85 % is applied to a thin, overlapping copper foil. The sheath of the cable consists of a halogen-free and flame-retardant copolymer. Thanks to this Heatex sheath, the cable is low-smoke and flame-retardant, has low fire propagation and does not produce corrosive gases. Due to its fire protection class Cca, Aircell 7 Heatex is suitable for installation in public buildings. Aircell 7 Heatex is certified for indoor and outdoor track applications in accordance with requirement sets R15 and R16 of the EN 45545-2 standard.

Aircell 7 Heatex is a modern and widely used coaxial cable for numerous applications: it is extremely flexible, has low attenuation and is resistant to interference radiation.
