Christoph prefers J3E and FT8 operating modes, which he masters with his favorite devices such as the Yaesu FT-DX3000, FT-818ND, FT-891, ICOM IC-7300, IC-705 and ID-52 and many more. What Christoph appreciates most about his hobby is the impressive variety of possibilities that amateur radio offers. For him, it is not only a fascinating technical challenge, but also the perfect complement to his outdoor activities, such as hiking.
