DX Pro - Soundcard interface for all transceivers

The RIGblaster interfaces from the USA have enjoyed great popularity among many radio amateurs for many years because of their simplicity and reliability. The new DXpro soundcard interface rounds up the series.

The RIGblaster DXPro interface is a combined CAT and sound interface for almost any transceiver. The previously very cumbersome configuration of the cables and various socket assignments, the manufacturer solves very elegant by so-called ISC headers, so ready-wired jumpers with which over 60 different transceivers can be configured very easily.

The special feature of the DXpro is that the transceiver microphone is routed via the interface. This makes exact sequence control possible, but also the recording of voice announcements for the keyer with the same microphone, which is later also used for transmitting. This facilitates fast recording of CQ calls and intelligibility at the remote station. Due to the clever design of the included adapter cable, all radios with an 8-pin mic connector are supported, regardless of whether they have a round or RJ-45 jack.

The sound card interface is designed for stereo operation. So transceivers with separate AF of main and sub receiver can be connected here. This allows a flexible operation also in contest and even with two different programs. The CAT control of the transceiver is prepared for all possible situations and levels, so that almost any log and contest programs can access the radio via the USB interface. The two virtual COM ports separate serial data and functions like PTT and FSK control, making configuration easier. Even such features as "Pseudo-FSK", as offered by the popular multimode program "FLdigi", are supported by the interface.

In addition to the interface, the scope of delivery includes seven jumpers for configuration, plus an audio cable, a microphone cable, a 12 V cable with power pole connectors, USB cable, DVD with device drivers and the English manual.
