Founded in 2008 and based in Reno, Nevada (United States), Chameleon Antenna specialises in the design and manufacture of very robust and durable shortwave antennas. Easy handling and rapid deployment of the antennas are just as important as the reliable and well thought-out design and careful selection of materials. These features are not only appreciated by demanding radio amateurs, but also by professional services such as the military and intelligence services. Here in particular, simple handling, uncomplicated construction and a wide bandwidth are of great importance. Many of Chameleon's antennas are designed so that they can be set up in several configurations to cover different requirements - NVIS for short and medium ranges as well as flat radiation for long distances. The use of standardised thread sizes means that many components can be combined and added to each other.
