PL connector, the plug is also called PL-259, the socket SO-239 (PL engl. Plug, SO engl. Socket). The designation "UHF" stems from old times when 30 MHz was considered "Ultra High Frequency"... (see Wikipedia article about the UHF connector).
Some of the plugs offered here are crimp plugs, i.e. they are not soldered on, but the outer braid is placed on a shaft, a sleeve is placed over it and this is then closed with a special crimping tool. The inner conductor is usually always soldered.
