Chameleon HPD Kit for Tactical Dipole TD 2.0

The Chameleon CHA HPD kit extends the application possibilities and the performance of the TD2.0 dipole. Thus, for example, the standard antenna wire or the radials can be replaced or supplemented with the longer wires of the HPD kit.

Depending on the antenna configuration selected, using these high-performance wire elements instead of the standard counterbalance wires increases the gain below 14 MHz by an average of 2.6 dB. Nevertheless, the antenna remains easy to erect because the counterpoise wires can be routed in any direction, although this need not be in a straight line.

The two high-quality, approx. 32.5 m long antenna wires, made of robust, tinned copper wire with Teflon coating, can be transported on the supplied line-winders in a material-friendly and space-saving manner.
