The Chameleon UGS (Universal Guying System) is a guying system that has been specially developed for the MPAS 2.0 portable antenna, also in conjunction with the 'Mil Extension' and 'Mil Whip 2.0' extensions, but can also be used with other portable antennas with a 3/8" thread (or smaller) and up to 6 meters in length.
The use of this system, which is quick and easy to set up, ensures that the vertical radiator stands upright, provides additional safety and protects against material fatigue.
A positive side effect: by stabilizing the antenna in the wind, the SWR remains constant and, as a result, the quality of the received and own signal.
For storage and transport, the three abrasion-resistant and non-electrically conductive guy ropes can be stored on the line winders included in the kit to save space and keep them free of knots. This ensures immediate readiness for the next use.
