Discover the flexibility of the Chameleon Antenna URT1, the ultimate remote antenna tuner for shortwave and 6m, for almost any type of antenna and transceiver. The Chameleon URT1 is characterized by its versatility and ease of use. This broadband tuner is suitable for wire antennas such as vertical antennas or long wire antennas of any length, but can also be used with coaxially fed antennas such as an inverted "V" or dipole.
The special highlight of the URT1: No transceiver-specific control cable is required, which means it can be used with almost any transceiver from any manufacturer without problems!
Power is supplied by using a coupler via the coaxial feed to the tuner. This "coupler unit" is simply placed in the shack, close to the transceiver. Pressing the "Tuning" button triggers the automatic tuning process, no further settings need to be made.
The robust tuning unit is weatherproof and designed for permanent outdoor installation at or near the antenna connection point to avoid losses due to high SWR on the feed line. Stainless steel brackets are included to allow outdoor installation.
