Technical description Super Star 3900
The Super Star 3900 is the latest version of a proven CB radio, now fully multi-norm compliant and legally usable in all EU countries. Thanks to its adaptation to various country standards, including the 80 FM and 40 AM/SSB channels permitted in Germany, it meets the highest standards of flexibility and usability.
The device, with a classic silver front, 7-segment LED display and an analog S-meter, is a real eye-catcher. However, the outward appearance is deceptive, because the inside contains the latest technology and numerous features.
With functions such as adjustable receiver sensitivity, adjustable microphone sensitivity and automatic squelch (ASQ), the Super Star 3900 is up to date. An integrated SWR measuring function ensures optimal antenna matching and protects against excessive SWR. The manually adjustable display lighting in six levels and an individually configurable Roger beep underline the versatility of the device. A noise blanker and ANL function are available for undisturbed reception, and the Vox function enables voice-controlled transmission, which is particularly advantageous when on the move.

The Super Star 3900 is a top-of-the-range legal CB radio, ideal for users who want to combine high-quality features and ease of use. Thanks to its versatility and modern technology, the device offers excellent value for money for radio enthusiasts. The integrated SWR meter cannot replace a high-quality external SWR measuring device, but it does provide information on the go about whether the connected antenna is well matched. The precise analog S-meter can be a great help for signal search trips (“fox hunting”), since its stepless display makes it superior to many digital “bar displays”.
Provided that you have a suitable antenna and a good location, DX enthusiasts in particular will get their money's worth thanks to single-sideband modulation and 12 watts of output power. This makes the radio particularly suitable as a home station, but considerable ranges can also be achieved in mobile operation, for example from a hill. Numerous functions for improving reception and suppressing interference make it easier to work with weaker signals.
As with all CB radios we offer, the Super Star 3900 does not incur any costs for registration and operation in Germany.
