Diamond CPATU Antenna 3,5-50Mhz

The Diamond CPATU is a broadband vertical antenna for the 80 m to 6 m bands. It is designed exclusively for operation with an external, automatic remote tuner. Compatible devices tested by the manufacturer are for example

The use of 2 coils integrated in the radiator allows a short radiator length of only 4.60 meters. This means that the antenna, manufactured in proven Diamond quality, can be used wherever the use of long wires is not possible, for example for reasons of space or a lack of options for guying.

Depending on the tuner used, the CPATU can be operated with up to 300 W (SSB).

The tuner is connected to the antenna near the feed point using the approx. 1.20 meter long jumper cable supplied.

In order to achieve optimum performance, it is essential to ensure sufficient counterweight. We recommend the use of three radial wires, each 10 meters long, which are connected to the ground connection of the antenna tuner.

An existing antenna mast or a balcony railing made of (conductive) metal is suitable for mounting if it is also to be used as a counterweight. The required mounting material is included in the scope of delivery and enables simple attachment to vertical tubes with diameters of 30 to 62 mm.
