An affordable GPSDO (GPS Disciplined Oscillator) with 10 MHz precision clock designed for the most demanding microwave enthusiasts.
The high-contrast OLED display provides information about position, SAT status and time. The receiver supports GPS, Glonass and Galileo.
The voltage supply can be 8 - 14 V.
On the back of the housing, in addition to the connector for the GPS antenna, there are 3 additional SMA outputs for sine waves (A+B+C ~ 7 dBm), as well as an SMA output for square waves.
This GPSDO, version 2.0, is programmed in hotstart mode. This means that even without an antenna and without a GPS signal, it will still provide a reliable and accurate 10Mhz signal at the outputs.
However, since an internal OCXO (Oven Controlled Oscillator) is used, the internal heater needs about 5 minutes to reach the operating temperature - 50ºC. The resulting heating of the housing is completely normal.
Performance data:
- Duty cycle 50%
- Phase noise @ 1Hz - 80dBc/Hz
- Phase noise @ 10Hz - 120dBc/Hz
- Phase noise @ 1KHz - 145 dBc/Hz
- Phase noise @ 10KHz - 150 dBc/Hz
- Second harmonic < 51 dBs
- Third harmonic < 56 dBs
- Operating temperature range 0 - 75º C
- Operating temperature ~ 50º C (OCXO)
