Ecoflex-15 Plus from the German manufacturer SSB Electronic: Ecoflex-15 Plus is an improved version of the coaxial cable Ecoflex-15. For example, the attenuation is approx. 7% lower (@1GHz), the cable has become significantly lighter (22%), the load capacity has increased by 9% and much more. This was achieved, among other things, by a high-precision production of the inner conductor. It now consists of 7 cores made of aluminium, which are covered with a 0.1 mm thick copper jacket. The softer aluminium makes a much more precise stranding of the cores possible, the Ecoflex-15 Plus cable thus achieves an even more uniform compliance with the 50 Ω matching (approx. 3 dB @1GHz). As before, the outer conductor is designed in two layers (foil, braiding) for the best shielding. The same connectors as for Ecoflex-15 can be used. Maximum frequency 8GHz.
