Questions & Answers
What is an antenna splitter?
An antenna splitter is a device that allows a single antenna signal to be split between multiple receivers or multiple transmitters to be operated via a single antenna. In amateur radio, it is used, for example, to monitor different bands at the same time or to operate several radio devices on a common antenna system without having to install a separate antenna for each device. It is particularly important that the splitter is designed in such a way that it transmits the signals without significant losses and effectively isolates the different frequencies or devices from each other in order to minimize interference and mutual interference.
