FlexRadio's USB cables offer the possibility to control external devices such as amplifiers, antenna controls and tuners via USB-to-serial cables connected to the USB ports on the back of the radio (FR-6xxx, FR-8xxx). This makes the signals generated by the SmartSDR software usable for external devices. The two USB ports on the radio can be used, and a powered (active) USB hub can be used if more than two cables are needed.
