Extremely compact and weighing only 360 grams, Halo Loop is a half-wave dipole for VHF and UHF, folded to form a square loop. It is ideal for use in small spaces, for example on the balcony and wherever the installation of large and bulky antennas is not possible. In addition, thanks to its low weight, it can be easily stowed in your luggage and is therefore also suitable for SOTA or emergency radio operation. Setup and connection are possible in a very short time. The large square with 28 cm edge length covers the 2m band in the frequency range of 140 - 150 MHz, the smaller one allows operation on 70cm from 400 - 470 MHz. The signal direction corresponds to the open side of the loop element.
The 50 ohm supply with up to 800 watts is provided by a PL/SO239 connector.
