Heil Adaptor Cable

Adapter cable for Heil headsets to various radios. Depending on the microphone type (dynamic or electret) and the type of plug (8p. round or RJ-45) a different adapter is needed. Please choose from the list.

The adapters for dynamic microphones have a built-in isolating capacitor to block the supply voltage from the microphone jack. This ensures that the microphone cannot be damaged. The adapters for electret microphones do not have an isolating condenser, here the supply voltage can pass to supply the microphone.

Each adapter has the following connections:

• Microphone jack 3.5mm jack from headset
• Microphone plug to radio (8p. round or modular RJ-45 or 2.5mm streo jack)
• PTT socket 6.3mm jack to PTT button (foot switch, hand switch)

The different adapters are:

• ADIC-8: for Icom Electret microphones, without isolating capacitor, with 8p. round plug
• ADIC-M: for Icom Electret microphones, without isolating capacitor, with 8p. RJ-45
• AD-1-K-8: for Kenwood dynamic microphones, with isolating capacitor, with 8p. round plug
• AD-1-K-M: for Kenwood dynamic microphones, with isolating capacitor, with 8p plug. RJ-45
• AD-1-Y-8: for Yaesu dynamic microphones, with isolating capacitor, with connector 8p. round
• AD-1-Y-M: for Yaesu dynamic microphones, with isolating capacitor, with 8p. RJ-45
• AD-1-IHT: for Icom IC-705, for Icom Electret microphones, without isolating capacitor, with 2.5mm stereo jack
• AD-1-I-8: for Icom dynamic microphones, with isolating capacitor, with 8p. round plug
• AD-1-I-M: for Icom dynamic microphones, with isolating capacitor, with plug 8p. RJ-45
