Heilwire Mikrofonkabel highly flexible

The 'Heilwire' is a custom made microphone cable which carries a shielded and an unshielded wire pair. The wires have a size of 0.8 mm² (AWG 18), the shield is made from very dense silver coated copper wire. The shielded pair is used for the microphone audio signal, the unshielded pair is used for switching purposes like PTT or other signals. Due to the separation of the two wire pairs mutual influences are effectively suppressed, the shield protects against HF irradiation into the microphone line. The outer jacket is made from highly flexible PVC, the diameter of ~6.5 mm is ideal for the connectors for Heil microphones and other audio connectors.
