Technical description

Like all antennas from I0JXX, these 23cm Yagis are characterized by an excellent quality of workmanship and the use of high-quality materials in conjunction with a thoughtful design. The reliability and durability achieved in this way is particularly appreciated by many radio amateurs.

Especially worth mentioning: The assembly instructions for each antenna are clearly arranged, abundantly illustrated and multilingual (English, German, French, Italian). Thus, assembly and installation can be done in a short time.

The coaxial feeding of the antennas, which can be loaded with up to 250 watts, is done via an N-connector (female) at the loop dipole.

Application description

The 23 cm amateur radio band extends from 1240 MHz to 1300 MHz, providing a bandwidth of 60 MHz for the transmission of voice, data and images.

One of the most remarkable features of the 23 cm band is its ability to penetrate obstacles. Because of the relatively high frequency, signals from 23 cm radios can penetrate buildings, trees and other obstacles better than lower frequency bands. This enables reliable communication even in urban environments or densely forested areas.
