As part of the so-called "Digitalpaket", the introduction of a new VAT system with far-reaching changes for cross-border online trade with consumers is being driven forward at EU level.
As of 01.07.2021, in B2C distance selling (transactions with end consumers), the previously applicable VAT delivery thresholds in the EU will be abolished and tax amounts will be owed directly in the country of delivery.
The so-called "distance selling regulation" will then apply.
From this point on, cross-border deliveries of goods to non-entrepreneurs will be taxable in the destination member state, and the corresponding amount of VAT will be payable there.
This means, for example, that as of 1.7.21, 20% VAT will be shown on invoices for deliveries to France, and 25% VAT will be shown on invoices for deliveries to Italy. The recipient in Italy therefore no longer benefits from the 19% VAT rate in Germany.

GMDSS radio with Class A DSC
The GM600 is a GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) VHF radio that can be used as part of a GMDSS equipment system required to be in place by SOLAS or national maritime regulations. When the GM600 is supplemented with a GM800 MW/KW radio, one has an optimal GMDSS radio station for VHF, shortwave and mediumwave on board.
Meets MED requirements
Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU (MED) summarizes the requirements for equipment used on European merchant vessels, as well as the rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures required to meet them. The GM600 is designed to operate reliably even under the harshest weather conditions at sea. To this end, the front panel is IPX7 waterproof (30 minutes at a depth of 1 m) and the back panel is coated with a corrosion-resistant material.
DSC complies with ITU-R M.493-13 standard
The built-in DSC realizes automatic emergency and safety communication. A special DSC receiver permanently monitors DSC call channel 70. A total of 100 MMSI IDs (75 individual and 25 group IDs) are available for DSC calls, which can be assigned names up to 10 characters long. DSC operation is facilitated by using the DSC task mode.
4.3-inch color TFT display
The large color TFT display can be read from a viewing angle of almost 180°. Characters and symbols are displayed at a high resolution, so all displayed information can be easily seen from any viewing direction, even when the radio is installed in the instrument panel. There is a special night mode for operation in the dark.
Loud and clear reception
The GM600's speaker, built into the front panel, ensures the best possible intelligibility of received calls. A new water-resistant material is used for the speaker membrane. The transmitted LF frequency range is wide and the playback characteristic is linear. In case an external speaker is connected, 10 W audio power is available.
Intuitive user interface
The combination of navigation keys and softkeys allows very easy operation. All 12 main functions are assigned to softkeys (in the lower part of the display), which can be scrolled through using the left/right navigation keys. Clearly labeled keys allow for quick entries and the CH16 key is used to directly access channel 16 with a single keystroke.
PS-310 DC-DC Power Supply
The optional DC-DC converter generates a stable voltage of 12.6 V for the operation of the GM600. Depending on the version, the PS-310 is supplied with 12 V or 24 V from the on-board power supply and can be connected ground-free. The PS-310 protects the radio against short power failures. For MED conformity, the GM600 must be operated with a PS-310.
