Technical description ID-RP4010V
The ID-RP4010V is a complete 70cm relay for FM and D-Star. The maximum
transmit power is 25 watts, switchable to 5W. The transceiver is a
direct-scanning SDR, and firmware updates make it easy to accommodate
future upgrades.
The ID-RP4010V has an integrated controller
function, i.e. no ID-RP2C (as before) is required for operation.
However, the new repeater can also be integrated into existing systems
with ID-RP2C controller, so existing investments remain protected. In
addition, several repeaters can be cascaded and operated in a network.
With an existing Internet connection, worldwide D-Star operation is
possible.
For operation, a power supply unit, duplexer, antennas
and coaxial cables are required, as well as other devices that depend on
the location (lightning protection, etc.).
The ID-RP3 software from Icom is required for configuring the repeater. We will be happy to provide you with this software free of charge for download after purchase of the repeater. Application description ID-RP4010V
The ID-RP4010V makes it easy to set up a relay station. The mixed operation of analogue FM and digital D-Star modulation allows a smooth transition between the technologies.
In contrast to the past, no separate controller (ID-RP2C) is necessary for operation, the controller is integrated. However, operation on existing relays with ID-RP2C is also possible without any problems. If multi-band operation is planned, the ID-RP4010V can also be combined with other repeater modules. When connected to the Internet, worldwide networking via D-Star is possible. For locations without a good Internet connection, an optional LTE module is available (UX-262).
