The weatherproof and extremely compact omnidirectional M80-4G is not only suitable for use in the usual mobile radio bands, but also covers the 2.4 GHz WiFi band. It is ideally suited for industrial applications, e.g. sensors (Internet of Things), control systems, mobile scanners, industrial trucks, etc.
It is ideally mounted on a metallic, flat surface (e.g. sheet metal). The approx. 3 m long connection cable with SMA plug (male) is routed downwards through the drill hole, and the antenna is also screwed in from below. This ensures a good ground contact, which is needed for the full power development.
The visible part of the antenna is made of robust, black ABS plastic. The height of the flat radome is only 1.5 cm, which offers not only optical advantages, but above all protection against damage, vandalism and theft.
