This automatic coupler for coaxial or long wire fed antennas. It is waterproof and suitable for outdoor use. The maximum transmission power is 300W PEP. Couples antennas throughout the shortwave range from 1.8 to 30MHz. The tuning time is a maximum of 15 seconds, but is usually shortened to 5 or less, since once the settings are found, they are stored in one of 10,000 permanent memories.

This coupler works automatically, no manual tuning is necessary. Tuning starts at a transmit power as low as 2W, but 10-20W is recommended for best results. The maximum power while the coupler is operating should not exceed 20W. Although the coupler is equipped with 16A / 1000V relays that should withstand a high load, they could be damaged if higher powers are used for tuning. The coupler's L-switched network allows up to 192 direct L and 192 C values, resulting in an impedance matching range from y 12 to 1600 & Omega

It is fed through the coaxial cable; For this purpose, a Bias-T MFJ-4117 is included in the shipment. The coupler has PL-UHF connectors for the transceiver and the antenna, alternatively you can use any length of cable for wire antennas. For antennas fed by parallel cable an external balun is required (not included).
