Mosley is known for its large and very robust shortwave beams. But since not everyone always has the space for large antennas, the manufacturer also offers small "mini" beams, of course just as robust.
The Mini-32A is a two-element beam for classic shortwave bands 10, 15 and 20 m. The boom length is only 183 cm. The boom length is only 183 cm, so this antenna also fits on a smaller house. Even portable operation on a camping site would be conceivable with this antenna.
The Mini-32A uses two elements to achieve directivity and thus a gain of approx. 3 to 5 dBd. The shortening of the elements is achieved with traps (blocking circuits). The colour coding of the elements makes the assembly very easy. The length of the elements can be optimised for certain band ranges, the maximum turning radius is approx. 314 cm.
Even if this mini-beam does not achieve the performance of a large antenna - better a small antenna than no antenna at all! Amateur radio also consists of making amazing connections worldwide with minimal effort. The Mosley Mini-32A is there!
