Diamond Mobile Antennas Overview
As German DIAMOND General Agency we only supply the original Japanese antennas with the well-known top quality. Why buy a copy from Taiwan for almost the same money? The longer antennas have a quick-fold joint: if necessary, the antenna can be folded over with a flick of the wrist without removing it from the base. Depending on the frequency range, the antennas have PL or N connectors. Most antennas do NOT require a counterweight for operation (see table)!
"Radial-Less":
Normally, vehicle antennas require the vehicle ground as a counterweight. Problematic for cars with plastic bodywork or if the antennas are to be installed on boot clamps etc. with a poor earth connection.
The DIAMOND antennas marked as 'Radial-Less' in the table require the following for operation no counterweight, can therefore be operated without loss without any earth connection!
