The PENTA10 is an impressive multiband shortwave antenna from Momobeam in Italy. The three-part telescopic boom is not even 4 meters long, but still offers enough space for a total of 10 elements, with each band having 2 elements. The design for 20, 17, 15 and 12 m is a reflector/driver configuration, while for the 10 m band the elements work as a driver and director.
The design deliberately dispenses with traps in order to achieve maximum performance. The coaxial 50-ohm power supply is provided directly via a single connection using an RF choke that is already included in the scope of delivery and can handle up to 3000 watts. Momobeam antennas are designed to operate over a wide bandwidth for each band. Adjustment of the antenna is not necessary if set up correctly.
Thanks to the clear labeling of the individual components and the well-structured assembly instructions, assembly and commissioning are straightforward so that you can go on air with your PENTA10 as quickly as possible.
Resistant and durable materials such as 6060T6 aluminum alloys, rust-free stainless steel hardware and UV-resistant insulators are of course also standard in this precisely manufactured antenna and guarantee trouble-free operation for many years.
