Antenna to retro-fit suitable notebook PCs. Many up-to-date notebooks are prepared for WiFi/wireless LAN. Usually this requires a mini-PCI module, which allows connection of two antennas with U.FL connector. Suitable for any 802.11B or 802.11g system.The antennas are usually installed in the display lid, many recent computers are prepared for such an installation.The cable is 60cm long, sufficient for most notebook sizes. Gain approx. 2dBi, nearly omni-directional radiation.
The size of the antenna element itself is 40 x 10 and has three holes for mounting.
