The weatherproof and very compact omnidirectional antenna is not only suitable for use in the usual cellular bands, but also covers the 2.4 GHz WiFi band.
It is ideally suited for industrial applications, e.g. sensors, controllers, mobile scanners, industrial trucks, etc.
It is ideally mounted on a metallic, flat base (e.g. sheet metal) with a 22 mm hole. The two connection cables with N-sockets are led downwards through the drilled hole, and the antenna is also screwed in from below. This ensures a good ground contact, which is needed for full power development.
The visible, only 8.8 cm short part of the antenna is made of robust, black ABS plastic.
