Technical description PA144-432-14-1.5BP
The PA144-432-14-1.5BP is a compact Yagi antenna for two bands simultaneously, namely 2m and 70cm. Each band can be loaded with up to 500W PEP, the feed is via a 1:1 coaxial balun (Aircell-7) , which serves as a choke.
The one-piece boom is 150cm long, the 2m Yagi uses 5 elements, the 70cm Yagi 9 elements. This results in free space gains of 10.45 and 13.4 dBi respectively. When mounted on a mast at a height of approx. 10m above ground, the gain increases due to the ground reflections.
The mast clamp supplied is used to mount the antenna on a rotary tube up to 70mm thick. Transport length approx. 1.5m, weight 1.5 kg.

Since the antenna has only a single connector (N-jack), the use of a diplexer is unnecessary, it can be connected directly to the antenna output of the radio.
