PNI's Duplex 2000 is a completely inconspicuous vehicle antenna that packs a punch: it enables radio operation with up to 50 watts of power on all 40 CB channels in the 26.965 to 27.405 MHz frequency range AND reception of VHF broadcast stations (87.5 - 108 MHz) - all in an only 49 cm short, slightly tilted antenna with aerodynamically optimized fiberglass radiators.
This solution is particularly advantageous in many respects:
- The appearance of your vehicle remains largely unchanged.
- The antenna can remain on the car roof when entering parking garages or underground garages; there is no need to remove or fold down the antenna beforehand.
- No hint for possible "thieves" that high-quality radio technology could be in the vehicle.
For mounting a hole with a diameter of 16 mm is required. Possibly, depending on the type of vehicle, an existing antenna hole can be used as a starting point. The two connection cables (coaxial cable RG-174), each with a length of 5 meters, already have ready-mounted connectors and can therefore be connected to a CB radio and the car radio in no time and without prior soldering.
The Duplex 2000 is already tuned by the manufacturer, there is no need for manual adjustment.
