Technical description EASY
With the "EASY" model, POLMAR offers a very stable and easy-to-use PMR446 radio. The robust housing made of die-cast aluminium ensures good heat dissipation and the device can withstand a little more stress in rough use. In the internationally standardised PMR range at 446 MHz, 8+8 channel memories are available in the frequency range from 446.00625 to 446.09375. By using selective calling systems such as CTCSS (50 tones) and DCS (83 codes), there are enough possibilities to address whole teams or individual members specifically without disturbing the other participants. The transmitting power is - as usual for PMR - 0.5 Watt.
The squelch can be adjusted via the keypad, making it possible to adapt to difficult transmission conditions. A scan function checks all channels for activity, so you don't miss any communication in the vicinity. Other comfort functions such as a power-saving mode, keypad lock, VOX and much more ensure problem-free everyday operation. There is even a built-in FM radio receiver (88-108 MHz). The keypad's acknowledgement tones provide clear feedback during operation. Power is supplied either by the included LiIon battery with 2200 mAh capacity, or by the empty battery case for AAA cells, which is also included.
