Technical description WORK4
The POLMAR WORK4 is an analogue handheld radio for the internationally approved PMR446 range (446.00625 - 446.19375 MHz). The radio has a transmitting power of 0.5 Watt, sufficient for group communication over distances up to several kilometres (depending on terrain and own location).
This PMR446 radio is designed as a very robust and reliable working device, operation is possible without any problems even when wearing gloves. The LED display, which is inconspicuously mounted under the loudspeaker, shows the currently selected channel and the battery status. The "Work4" offers all the usual comfort functions for PMR devices, such as voice masking, the selective call systems CTCSS and DCS, transmit time limit (TOT) and transmit lock on busy channel (BCLO).
When using a headset, VOX operation offers the possibility of operation without having to touch the radio (handsfree operation). This increases safety and comfort when working. The powerful loudspeaker has an audio power of approx. 1 watt and thus offers good intelligibility even outdoors.

With a size of 57 x 35 x 122 mm (without antenna), the WORK4 radio fits comfortably in the hand, even if you wear gloves to work. The included LiIon battery has a capacity of 1700 mAh, so it can even last for an extra hour!
