The Poynting XPOL V2 serves all major LT 4G and 5G bands, which are approved for use in Europe as well as a large part of the world. The frequency range is from 617 MHz to 3800 MHz (with gaps, see data sheet). The gain is good for such a small omnidirectional antenna, and the greatest gain in performance is achieved by placing the antenna outside the building.
The Poynting XPOL-1-5G is available in two versions, 2x2 MIMO (2 ports) and 4x4 MIMO (4 ports). This serves all modern LTE routers. The cables are each 5m long and are equipped with an SMA connector.
The antenna can be mounted on a mast or wall with the supplied mounting material. With the enclosed suction cups, it can also be mounted on a glass pane. The housing is weatherproof and UV-resistant, so it is ideally suited for outdoor installation.
LTE mobile radio uses many different frequency bands, which have been freed up in recent years through reallocation (digital dividend). Accordingly, it is necessary to use increasingly better adapted antennas. The Poynting XPOL-1-5G serves all bands from 617 to 3800 MHz and can therefore be used in almost all European countries and also in large parts of the world without any problems.
LTE technology stipulates that radio transmission must take place simultaneously via two different polarisation planes. This is the only way to take full advantage of the benefits of LTE - more stable connections and higher transmission speeds. Accordingly, the XPOL-1-5G contains two or four individual antennas, which are then available to the router with two or four connections. The omnidirectional nature of the antenna makes it unnecessary to precisely align the antennas, making it ideal for changing locations or situations where the coverage situation may change. It is also well prepared for future developments. The gain of the antenna is between approx. 0.5 and 3.5 dBi, typical for an omnidirectional antenna with high bandwidth.
The flexible mounting options on the wall, on a mast or with suction cups on a glass pane make the Poynting XPOL-1-5G a universally usable antenna for all LTE routers, even when travelling in hotels.
