The Radioleg-818 system was developed to improve the operating comfort of the Yaesu FT-817/FT-818. This is done by raising the front panel by about 3.5 centimeters by folding out the stand legs attached to the side of the unit. The result is better readability of the display and much better access to the controls on the front panel. The transceiver is also effectively prevented from slipping by means of rubber feet and an additional self-adhesive rubber pad for the bottom of the transceiver, e.g. when pressing the buttons or moving the microphone cable.
It is supplied as a kit with detailed assembly instructions and all necessary parts such as washers, screws, etc. The legs of the Radioleg-818 are made of stainless steel for maximum stability and durability.
