Portable airband radios are a welcome alternative for most pilots and also a great back-up solution for the mandantory radio technology in the aircraft. No matter if you have to watch the local radio traffic for situational awareness, or if you always want to have a backup radio with you - WiMo offers the popular devices by Yaesu. The choice ranges from pure communication functions to navigation via VOR, ILS or GPS. Most of the aircraft radios on offer are CE certified, have a declaration of conformity and have been notified to the German federal agency (Bundesnetzwerkagentur).
