Which is better PMR or CB radio?
Whether PMR (Private Mobile Radio) or CB radio (Citizens Band Radio) is better depends on the user's specific needs and application scenarios. On which frequency do truck drivers transmit?
Truck drivers typically do not broadcast on amateur radio frequencies, but instead use CB (Citizen Band) radio, which does not require a license in many countries. In Europe, truck drivers mostly use the 27 MHz frequency, although channel 9 (27,065 MHz) is reserved for emergency calls and channel 19 (27,185 MHz) is often used for general road traffic.

Which PMR channel is the best?
There is no "best" PMR channel in general, as the choice of channel depends on various factors such as local traffic volume and specific usage situation. PMR446 radios offer 16 channels of communication, however channel 8 is often designated as a calling channel and therefore may be busier. Many users therefore choose a channel between 1 and 7 for continuous conversations in order to keep the call channel free. It is advisable to listen through the channels and choose the one that currently has the least traffic to avoid interference and overlap with other users.
