The Spid RAEL is a heavy duty tube mounted elevation rotor, ideal for larger parabolic dishes or other systems with stacked antennas. The slewing range is 180° with a resolution of 1°.
It features a durable steel worm gear, the adjustable clamp can take up any backlash in the gear that may occur after years of intensive use. The powder-coated housing is optimally protected against corrosion.
The rotor is conveniently controlled by the Rot1Prog digital control unit or by computer.
Additionally included is a specially configured computer mouse for manual control of the rotor. The buttons are functionally identical to the corresponding controls on the front panel of the control unit.
An adapter plate is optionally available for conventional installation in the mast.
