RIGrunner 7x DC Distribution with USB, Fuses

A RIGRunner is the most convenient and safest way to connect all your 12 VDC equipment to a power source. It is a 13.8 VDC power panel that uses the excellent Anderson Powerpole connectors. Standardize all of your 12 VDC connections using the amateur radio ARES & RACES, RSGB, ARRL Powerpole system.

The distribution strip RR-4007U differs from other models by these noteable features:

• a central on/off switch to power all connected,
• a display of voltage or current with a 7 segment display and
• a USB socket for charging Apple or Android phones or other USB powered devices.

As other RigRunner power distribution strips the RR-4007U has an automatic over and under voltage protection, individually fused line for each load with error LED, HF chokes on all lines to prevent interferences and much more.

The central switching capability is very useful when you want to turn off all loads, but keep the main power supply running. For example when you want to continue to charge a battery. The display of voltage or current comes in helpful, when you need to check the power supply without using further means of measurement. The displayed current is the the total current of all loads. The built-in USB socket is very advantageous with the ubiquitous USB device like phones or batteries. It is designed to the USB specs and limits the charging current depending on device types like Apple or Android.
